Christopher Perry

DMD

Nominated as the 2014 Texas Dentist of the year by his peers, Dr. Christopher Perry is an internationally respected clinician and educator. Dr. Perry was born and raised in New Jersey, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College.

Dr. Perry received his DMD degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey after receiving a Masters Degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University. Dr. Perry completed a two year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) where he received advanced cosmetic, surgical, and implant training. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the residency program at the UTHSCSA Dental School.

Dr. Perry has lectured internationally on myriad topics from CEREC dentistry to proper occlusion and headache management. He is a former President of the San Antonio Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry and received the prestigious Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2013, attesting to his commitment to professional development and life-long learning. He was also nominated for induction in the International College of Dentists. A frequent contributor to journals such as Inside Dentistry, Dr. Perry is considered a leader in the profession.

Joseph Perry

DMD

 Dr. Joseph Perry has been in practice in New Jersey as a general and restorative dentist since 1971. He is a provider and Instructor for Express Smiles as well as a Senior Certified Instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics. In the mid 1970’s Dr. Perry served as a prosthodontic chairperson at the Monmouth Medical Center of Dentistry in Long Branch, NJ which included operating room privileges. From 1980 to 1984 Dr. Perry served as Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Occlusion at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry, under the chairmanship of Dr. Peter Neff, and proudly continues to pursue his teaching interests as an Attending Physician in the Dental Residency Training Program at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Perry has completed hundreds of hours of professional continuing education and continues to give and participate in numerous dental professional continuing education programs.

A life-long New York Yankees and New York Giants fan visits with Dr. Perry are often “extended” if the subject comes up. Often he can be found early in the morning at the gym attending “spinning class”. He also enjoys being outside on his bicycle or carefully negotiating his way down a snow-covered mountain trail, both film and digital photography, trying to find time to sit at his easel with his paint brush, and both foreign and domestic travel.

Dr. Perry completed his undergraduate studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University and received his DDS degree in 1970 from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC. Dr. Perry completed his residency training at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ in 1971 and has completed a number certificates and held various positions throughout his career including; “Occlusal/Restorative Continuum” (Society for Occlusal Studies at Georgetown University, 1976), “Orthodontics for the General and Pedodontic Dentist” (Institute for Graduate Dentists, New York, NY, 1979 ), Dale Carnegie courses and served as Graduate Assistant (1987) and completed “Instructors Training Institute” (International Association for Orthodontics, Milwaukee, WI, 2011).
